Fans wanted for The Vines Film Clip


Want to be in the 'Future Primitive' video clip? We are looking for 140 fans to be part of The Vines music video shoot on Wednesday June 1 at The Lo Fi Bar, Sydney.

Please read the following details carefully, because it has valuable information about how to prepare to get the most out of your day with us.

DATE: Wednesday 1 June

The Lo Fi Bar
383 Bourke St Darlinghurst.
It's above Kinsela's on Taylor Square.

We highly recommend you bring all necessary foods and liquids to keep you refreshed throughout the day and evening. There are some cafes and/or retail food outlets, nearby, however we do recommend you bring your own as we will be filming constantly throughout the four hours.

This is an over 18 years of age only event. We are filming on a licensed premises and therefore not able to admit anyone under the age of 18.


There is no parking near the venue.
You will need to make your own travel arrangements to get to the venue on time.


Please dress in dark tones. Black is good. If you do wear white - please keep it minimal.
Also it could be cool or warm - we don't know - so we recommend you dress in layers to cover yourself for both climates.
We suggest you dress casually and comfortably, as if you were going to see the Vines live in concert.

There will be no scheduled breaks during the shoot.

There is no security for any valuables. You are totally responsible for your own stuff.
There is no cloak room or space to leave bags or other items.

On arrival you should check in with Nikki from the production company.
She will get you to sign a release form which enables you to participate in the filming.
She is also the person to ask if you have any questions.
If you have to leave the set for an important reason then PLEASE LET HER KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING AND HOW LONG YOU WILL BE BEFORE YOU RETURN.


The wardrobe manager is Angela. She will check your wardrobe is ok for filming.

The music video is being directed by Tom Spark - who directed the last Vines music video "Gimme Love". He'll be wearing a hat - so you'll know who he is. He or the Assistant Director will be the person who will give you direction on the day. Please listen to Tom and his AD closely, so you know what to do when the cameras start rolling.
